HOME REMEDIES FOR NITS

Nits are the tiny eggs laid by head lice. While you need to kill the adult bugs to complete a lice treatment, getting rid of all nits (or eggs) is also necessary. Properly removing nits from hair means that the lice eggs never hatch, which not only prevents pain and suffering for the person affected but also limits the spread of the lice to other family members, friends, or furnishings. Understand how to remove nits from hair to ensure that you get the job done thoroughly the first time.

Apply the juice of onion into the hair follicles of the head to remove lice and shed off nits.

Neem paste  helps to get rid of these parasites from our head.

Other natural home remedies involve applying real mayonnaise, olive oil, or Vaseline or Castor oil mixed with boric powder and then applied on the head.

The mixture is  left overnight on the hair by tying it with a cloth or a disposable shower cap and then a head wash is given the next day.

GARLIC AND LIME JUICE :

Because garlic smells so strongly, it can suffocate lice and nits.
For this home remedy for lice, make a paste by grinding eight to ten garlic cloves and mixing it with two or three teaspoons lime juice.
Thoroughly apply this mixture on the scalp and let it be for half an hour before thoroughly rinsing hair with warm water.

Another option is to make a different thick paste with fresh garlic juice, green tea, lemon extract, shampoo, and conditioner.
In this case, you would also coat the hair before letting the paste sit for a half hour. Then wash the hair with normal shampoo. You should follow this home remedy weekly for one or two months.
