HOME REMEDIES FOR HAIRFALL

Causes for hairfall:

ANEMIA :


Anemia is a result of low iron intake in one’s diet. Many women may be anemic due to heavy menstruation or inadequate folic acid in their body. This results in low production of hemoglobin which means less oxygen to your organs. When oxygen does not reach your hair follicles, they tend to be weak and break easily. This results in hairfall.

PROTEIN DEFICIENCY :

Our hair is made of a protein called keratin. When we do not eat protein-rich foods, it depletes from our body making the hair brittle. This leads to weak strands which fall prematurely

HOME REMEDIES :

Hibiscus :
 
Also called shoe flower, hibiscus nourishes hair, prevents premature greying, treats dandruff and also controls hairfall.  
Steps:
  • Crush a few flowers and mix sesame or coconut oil to make a paste.
  • Apply on the scalp and hair and leave it on for a few hours.
  • Rinse off with cold water using a mild shampoo.

Amla or Indian gooseberry :
 
For people suffering from hairfall, amla or the Indian gooseberry is a blessing. It is packed with vitamin C and antioxidants that can reverse hair loss if it is in its initial stage. 

Steps:
  • Use either amla juice or powder and mix it with lemon juice.
  • Apply it on the scalp and leave it to dry.
  • Rinse hair using lukewarm water.
 Ginger and Olive Oil :
  • Ginger Juice
  • Olive Oil
Procedure:
  1. Take equal amount of ginger juice and olive oil in a bowl.
  2. Mix them well and gently apply this mixture on your scalp.
  3. Wrap your hair with plastic cap and Leave it for about 20-25 minutes.
  4. Wash it off with regular shampoo.
Fenugreek :
 
Seeds of fenugreek are rich in hormone antecedents that help repair hair follicles and promote hair growth. The seeds also contain protein and nicotinic acid that help strengthen hair shaft and promote healthy hair growth.

To use this home remedy for hair loss, make a paste of the seeds that have been soaked overnight in water. Apply the paste on your hair. Rinse your hair after 40- 45 minutes with water. Repeat the process twice a week for good results.
