 It is a good source of minerals such as copper, calcium, manganeese, iron and potassium.  Manganeese is used in the body as a co factor for the antioxidant enzyme, superoxide dismutase.  Potassium is an important intracellular electrolyte helps counter the hypertension effects of sodium.

BUILDS IMMUNE SYSTEM:  Cauliflower contains antioxidants.  Antioxidants have many health benefits they act as an anti inflammatory agent and they helps to build immune system.


RICH IN CALCIUM :  Cauliflower is rich in calcium which has numerous benefits.  Calcium helps to make our bones and teeth strong.

REDUCES CANCER RISKS :

Caauliflower helps in reducing the risk of lung cancer, breast cancer, bladder cancer etc.  Broccoli also belongs to same family which also has the same properties.


PROMOTES WEIGHT LOSS :  Cauliflower helps us to lose weight.  It contains vitamin C and folates which burns fat in our body.  One cup of cauliflower contains about 30 calories.  It is one of the non starchy food items that can be eaten in plenty.

Just one cup of peas contains 44% of your Vitamin K, which helps to anchor calcium inside the bones.  Its B vitamins also help to prevent osteoporosis. 
The many antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds in peas support healthy blood vessels.  The formation of plaque along our blood vessel walls starts with chronic, excessive oxidative stress and inflammtion.
